Actively stretch your legs and spine in Parsvottanasana (Intense Stretch to One Side Pose), first with modified arms, then open your shoulders and practice the pose with progressed arm positions. Bend deeply in the symmetrical Prasarita Padottanasana (Wide Stance Intense Stretch Pose), sit for Dandasana (Staff Pose), turn your legs out in Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose), culminate in the quintessential seated forward bend Paschimottanasana (Intense Stretch of the West Pose) and sit for a few moments of quiet meditation.
