A few quick sun salutations awaken your body and breath, then progressively layer inverted poses into the vinyasa, while maintaining the dynamism of movement and breath focus. Handstand is the first project in this sequence, forearm balance is next; each are approached in stages and include options. Headstand is next, and as it is an easier balance pose, it’s used as a slow down opportunity in the quicker tempo of this practice. Shoulderstand and Plough Pose bring you down to the earth and energetically and physically complete the set of vinyasa inversions, then rest in Savasana.
